Hi! My name is Valentina. I’m from Donbass, Donetsk region. When the war started in 2014 I had to move to Kharkiv where I met my boyfriend Denis. We’ve been together for a few years, I worked as a customer service rep for an American company, Denis was building his own business in marketing field. We had a beautiful and happy life before Russia invaded our city. Since Kharkiv borders with Russia, they bomb it every single day if not even every hour , so we had to leave and look for a safe place. We’ve been to several different regions of our country, hoping everything will be over soon but when we found out that our house in Kharkiv had been destroyed by Russian army we realized that we are never coming back home and we no longer have it . Therefore, we decided that it’s time to change our lives and make our biggest dream come true - USA. First of all, we want to be safe and provide our future kids safe life full of opportunities to grow . Unfortunately, it is not going to be possible in Ukraine for the next few years.
We are ready to come to US and work hard in order to build a new happy life.
